Description: 2007 Coach House Platinum 232XLFS

You are looking at a 2007 Coach House Platinum II Class B+ motorhome with the much desired 2 slide option. This is the Platinum 232XL FS model, for Front Sofa. You have a large slide for the electric-powered jackknife sofa in the salon, and another smaller slide for the full bed in back. May be considered a Class C by some folks. There’s just over 55K miles on the motorhome, and it recently passed a rigorous NYS Inspection. We recently did a complete rear brake replacement (2023) and the tires have less than 3000 miles since replaced in late 2021. We’ve also done the 50K Mile Transmission Service in 2022. Original Coach House Owner’s Manual included. Everything is working on this coach, and it drives like a dream, getting between 9 – 14 mpg with the Ford Triton V-10 engine. It has a many features that came standard on this coach that would be considered options on others. It also has many manufacturer options as well, including full body paint, heated holding tanks & Direct TV Satellite.

COACH HISTORY:
< The coach has been ours for the last 5 years, we bought it as a “retirement home away from home” and have since found our “forever” retirement home, so it’s time for someone else to enjoy this beautiful rig. We have traveled for as long as 6 weeks at a time in this Class B+ with plenty of room inside and out. Great Layout. When we purchased this RV in Georgia, it needed many things repaired or replaced, which we have done. We installed a new toilet valve, and all plumbing fixtures have been replaced, most damaged with a failure of the original owner to winterize. We have repaired the generator as well, it needed a new control board. We also have repaired a leak in the LPG fill hose caused by a hungry mouse. Fridge is cold, AC works great, the generator works well, and just need to dust her off and go. It’s been sitting a few months since the inspection brake job. To our knowledge the only remaining issue is a “tired” electric entry step, it needs a little help to open & close but works OK when it gets used more. We have put just over 12K miles on this RV ourselves, about 3-4K per year, but only about 1000 miles in the past couple years since we moved to our new retirement home.

We hate to see this RV go but it’s just sitting here, and we know someone else could enjoy it, that could be you.

ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE
If interested there is a TOW CAR or “toad” available for an additional cost, it is listed on this website under this webpage:

https://www.rvonline.com/dinghy-tow-toads-trucks/dinghy-tow-vehicles-toad-trucks-haulers.html

The Toad is a 2014 Ford Fiesta, has 112K Miles and is all setup for towing with a Demco Commander 2 tow bar, rear magnetic signal lighting, and mounts for the unit are installed on the toad already. We have towed this car and you don’t even know it’s there, unless you check the RV backup camera. The car is in very good shape for its age, and is not too bad of a ride when you use it after setting up the RV Why a Ford Fiesta you ask? Well it’s under 2500 lbs., so no need for any extra emergency braking module on the tow setup, and it pulls very easily behind a 23’ Class B+ RV. But most importantly, it’s EZ to put this vehicle in ‘tow mode”. There is no “fuse pulling” there is no “run the vehicle for 5 minutes every 4 hrs.” just hook & go.

The Ford Fiesta has an electronic transmission so you put it into drive, then move to neutral, and turn off the key. After that you simply disconnect the battery for towing, no limit on time or distance. I’ve added a knife-switch style disconnect to the NEGATIVE battery terminal that makes even that step easy, no wrenches needed. The Fiesta gets about 35 mpg, and seats 4, and also hold anything else you might want to camp with, like a portable grill or golf clubs. And it’s a no frills way to get mobility once you setup camp. We have travelled with and without the toad ourselves, life is much easier with it, especially on longer trips to visit family.

NOTICE: TOAD purchase is OPTIONAL to this listing, and not part of the asking price for the RV. If you want to make an offer on BOTH the Motorhome AND Toad feel free to contact us and we will consider your offer.
