Description: Thousand Trails Nationwide Lifetime Elite Membership. Ideal for full- timer RVers, families or retirees. This membership is NATIONWIDE meaning you can use any park in the entire USA and there is no limit on the number of days used annually. You can stay in one park for 21 days at a time (unless the park is deemed a 'high use' park, then during the seasonal months, they only allow 14 day stays). If you want to stay at one park for longer than 21 days, you must leave for 7 days and then come back for another 21 days. Another perk of this membership is you get to make your reservations 120 days in advance. There is NO daily fee on this plan. You can go from campground to campground with NO "out-of-system" periods - you are covered 365 days a year. To see all the campgrounds and amenities, go to www.thousandtrails.com. Members also get discounted rates on cabins, cottages and most Encore Resorts.

Price: $4,500 and Transfer Fee: $750. The lifetime membership does not cover annual dues. Annual dues are typically somewhere between $550 and $650 dollars a year. Don't quote me, but when I purchased, I signed up for two years of dues at one time which allowed me to finance the annual dues. In this scenario, the dues equate to $44 +/- per month for the two-year period. Hopefully they still have this policy in place.
